The ITIL Simulation Workshop is a powerful experiential workshop. An immersive face-to-face experience makes complex best practices, tools and transformations realistic for your teams in a quick and effective manner.
When asked to identify the biggest issues in IT management, most organizations cite “people” challenges as opposed to process, technology or information challenges. Resistance to change is natural, and the best way to overcome resistance is to clearly communicate the case for change with ITIL.
ASPE will send a certified facilitator to your location. Your group of 12-20 people will experience a highly interactive learning workshop that demonstrates the business value and positive impact of ITIL at your organization. The simulation practices iterative “rounds” and uses game dynamics to mirror IT and Business interaction. The nature of this is based on behavioral psychology and experiential learning theories of David Kolb.

The ITIL Simulation experience is a role-based workshop to accelerate understanding, involvement and acceptance of ITSM and ITIL® best practices in your organization. It is highly realistic, leveraging game dynamics to empower teams to rapidly familiarize themselves with ITSM terminology and ITIL processes. During the simulation, teams learn what can be achieved in business terms through successful implementation of ITSM and ITIL.
Participants from a variety of disciplines (business, development, testing, QA and operations) are immersed into a simulated environment whereby they are challenged to engage in planning for strategic and operational continuous service improvements. The experience gives participants a true hands-on experience showing how best practices of IT align to business objectives.
